一、荧光素（Luciferin）
生物发光是生物学研究中的一种基本工具，科学家们已将自然发生的生物发光反应的力量应用于报告基因测定，在该测定中，荧光素酶在添加发光底物后产生光。GoldBio提供广泛的荧光素底物，包括用于小鼠萤光素酶成像、细胞培养和ATP测定的D-荧光素钾盐，以及Colenterazine，用于生物发光共振能量转移（Bioluminescence Resonance Energy Transfer）、ELlSA、高通量筛选测定以及细胞和组织中超氧化物阴离子和过氧亚硝酸盐的化学发光检测。GoldBio还提供高灵敏度的单光和双光Illumination™检测试剂盒用于体外测量萤火虫（Firefly）荧光素酶和海肾（Renilla）荧光素酶的活性，并有闪光和辉光类型的形式以满足不同检测和发射持续时间需求。此外，GoldBio提供了冻干形式的Illumination™检测试剂盒。

二、异丙基-β-D-硫代半乳糖苷（IPTG）
IPTG是一种半乳糖的类似物，不可代谢，可使lac阻遏物失活，诱导大肠杆菌合成β-半乳糖苷酶。在lac操纵子的控制下，克隆的基因表达是通过IPTG诱导的。IPTG通常用于诱导重组蛋白，是硫半乳糖苷转乙酰酶的底物，并已报道在细菌中诱导青霉素酶。IPTG通常用于需要诱导β-半乳糖苷酶的克隆程序，并且最常与X-Gal一起用于蓝/白细菌菌落筛选。

三、感受态细胞（Competent Cells）
感受态细胞是各种研究用途的理想选择，包括一般克隆、蛋白质表达和文库构建。GoldBio提供大肠杆菌电转感受态细胞、化转感受态细胞、农杆菌电转感受态细胞、农杆菌化转感受态细胞以及其他试剂。GoldBio的电转细胞转化效率已得到验证，其实际效率高达≥1 x 108 cfu/μg DNA。
